Quiet places to stay abroad without tourists. Budget holidays at sea: the best options

Any person sometimes wants vivid emotions, new impressions, but where, no matter how on vacation, to look for them? Only there you can shake off the daily routine and gain strength for new achievements. Changing the environment while traveling, a person rests in body and soul, and new impressions do not allow him to turn sour.

1. Thailand

Over the past few decades, the Kingdom of Thailand has made international tourism one of its main sources of income. Last year alone, 27 million vacationers from all over the world came there, of which 15 million were in Bangkok, which is a record for cities in the world. Thailand has a rich cultural heritage, vibrant national cuisine, luxury hotels were built here near the white beaches. Thanks to all this, new travelers are striving there, and many return to Thailand more than once.

2. Brazil

The whole world knows the cheerfulness of the Brazilians, who literally ignite at the mention of the words "samba" or "football". For tourists, Brazil is a real paradise: here you can participate in the hunt for the jaguar in the jungle or just lie on the beautiful beach, sipping the local Caipirinha cocktail under bossa nova. More than 2,000 beaches stretch along the Atlantic coast of Brazil, and along it there are thousands of small islands - here you can find a secluded lagoon and excellent surfing spots. In general, there are so many interesting and unusual things in Brazil that it’s impossible to list everything. You can take a chance and go on a long journey deep into the Amazon, where it is possible to catch a huge piraruku fish. Much less effort will require a visit to Rio de Janeiro - a magnificent South American city with its famous beaches of Ipanema and Copacabana, where you can listen to plenty of bossa nova and samba, do extreme local sports- ride a piece of plastic from a high sand dune straight into the ocean.

3. Australia (Great Barrier Reef)

The Australian Great Barrier Reef is the world's largest coral formation. It is even considered one of the wonders of the world. Here is a real paradise for lovers of scuba diving, divers here can see a huge variety of fauna of the Pacific Ocean: amazingly beautiful fish, cetaceans, mollusks and corals themselves. But environmentalists believe that due to global warming, the water temperature is slowly rising, which, together with its pollution, leads to the death of corals. The most pessimistic forecasts give the reef a few more decades of life, and after that it may happen that there will be nothing to look at. So hurry up to Australia!

4. Croatia

By joining the European Union, Croatia, beloved by Russians as a holiday destination, has become more accessible to them, as it constantly introduces the abolition of the visa regime. Therefore, compatriots are happy to go there to relax in the mild Mediterranean climate of Croatia. It doesn't get too hot here, just the right amount. The picturesque Adriatic beaches and the surrounding landscapes serve as a perfect addition to the climate. Croatia is a very "domestic" country, which did not build huge all-inclusive hotels, at the entrance to which an invariable doorman in livery is on duty. Instead, there are many apartments rented out by local residents, in which tourists truly feel at home.
Croatia has a lot of greenery and very clean air, in which you can feel the subtle aromas of pine resin and sea salt. Local beaches are framed by lacy crowns of trees. One has only to drive away from the big cities to the outback, as it will be possible to enjoy peace and quiet even in the midst of the tourist season. But Croatian beaches are not the only entertainment here, because Croatia is rich in historical and natural attractions - it is no coincidence that it is considered one of the most beautiful in Europe.

To determine the standard of living of people, several methods have been invented, but they mainly use the one that operates in the UN. On behalf of this organization...

5. Morocco

Morocco is considered the pearl of North Africa, and yet relatively recently it was closed for tourism, but recently it has been catching up, receiving a huge number of travelers from all over the world. This country has a variety of natural conditions: the sands of the Sahara here go to the sea, and on the other hand rest against the mountains. Therefore, it makes sense to come here for those who like to soak up the beach near the warm sea, and for those who prefer to spend their holidays more actively.
Among several Moroccan resorts, Agadir is especially famous, which is located in a valley on the Atlantic Ocean. There are beaches of golden sand, camel rides in the dunes and many other entertainments. In the town of Essaouira there is one remarkable fishing port, in which colorful boats of fishermen crowd, and clouds of seagulls fly above them. Islam is widespread in Morocco, so Russians who do not profess this religion are not very comfortable here during the celebration of Ramadan, because at this time even foreigners are not allowed to drink alcoholic beverages here.

6. Bulgaria

In the wonderful country of Bulgaria there is a gentle sea, sandy beaches and green parks. Local beach resorts and club hotels operate on an all-inclusive basis. This country can be called ideal for a family holiday - here you can find mineral springs and sports facilities. The pride of the country are the endless vineyards and rose plantations. Although Bulgaria is a fairly close neighbor, it has a highly developed tourist service, which has European quality and offering a decent entertainment program. The beaches in Bulgaria are clean and well-groomed.
Resting in Bulgaria, one cannot help but come to Sofia, which is one of the oldest cities on the continent - settlements of prehistoric times have been found here. An important sight of the capital is the Hagia Sophia, which even got on the coat of arms of the city.

7. Greece

Greece can be called the golden mean in every respect. There are many small home-style hotels here, which retain the hotel service with daily cleaning and offer a buffet for breakfast, but at the same time allow you to feel welcome by good friends. Greece has given the world many great historical sights, but it is also rich in a variety of beaches: sandy, pebble or sand and pebble. You can have fun moving from beach to beach and comparing them. On many of the countless Greek islands you can stay in a hotel where instead of a veranda there is a small pool where you can sit at least all day without leaving your home. In addition, you can make easy walks on the sea on different boats, exploring the picturesque bays and looking for new beaches. It is also worth mentioning the excellent Greek cuisine, which is famous throughout Europe. Dinner at the national Greek restaurant will give both adults and children a lot of gastronomic delights.

8. Tunisia

Tunisia can be called a fairly young tourist country, since it began to attract travelers widely only in the 80s of the last century. But today it boasts 1200 km of beaches, near which there are numerous modern hotels, and many historical monuments. Also, popular thalassotherapy centers have been created on the basis of local thermal springs. There are resorts here that are already teeming with crowds of tourists, attracted by low prices and excellent beaches, but there are also those that are just gaining popularity - in these you can relax in a much more relaxed environment.
Tabarka is just such a not crowded resort, located in the north of the country - the "coral coast". Diving enthusiasts should come here. Small resort town Ishka Magdia, located on the Mediterranean coast, is conducive to a relaxing family holiday on snow-white beaches. Holidays in Tunisia can be a solution to problems for those who are afraid to fly by plane, because you can sail here from Genoa or Marseille by ferry, capturing your car, which will allow you to travel around the country.

In different countries of the world, the standard of living is strikingly different: if in some it is incredibly high, then in others it is just as low. Many of us don't even...

9. Cambodia

Cambodia has incredibly picturesque landscapes, a lot of antiquities and very cheap food. It may even seem to some that the service fee here is indecently small: for one dollar in Cambodia, you can eat hearty and delicious dish, and for five "green" rent a house. Such low prices are kept here because, until recently, tourists did not come here because of the nightmarish recent fate of this country, and only recently the situation has begun to change dramatically in better side. Now, mainly young people are striving to Cambodia, who like a lot here.

10 Italy

With its incredible history, Italy could not fail to become a tourism destination associated with educational excursions. Countless routes through classical Italy will always attract tourists who prefer not to fry all day on the beach, but to get to know the country with their ears and eyes, constantly traveling through it. The most curious seek to get off the beaten track and climb into unfamiliar villages of the Italian hinterland. Those who need the sun and the sea can head to the resorts of the Adriatic Sea, Amalfi and Naples, or settle in the resorts of Tuscany and Lazio. Russian tourists have long mastered such destinations in Liguria as Portofino, San Remo or Santa Margherita Ligure, where bohemians and the elite prefer to have fun. Of course, do not forget about the Italian islands: Sicily, Sardinia, Ischia can reward you with magnificent views of nature and allow you to enjoy a quiet relaxing holiday.

The most enjoyable seaside vacation

Summer is getting closer, it's time to think about where to spend it. Precisely in anticipation summer season we have compiled a rating of the best places for a beach holiday in Europe, Russia and exotic countries. Don't know where to go? Meet!

Where should you not go?

  • Leave aside European resorts that offer holidays on the Black Sea. The service there, of course, is higher than domestic, but the sea is the same, and the pricing policy may well be compared with the resorts of the Mediterranean Sea or the Indian Ocean.
  • You should not go to those countries that seem unsafe to you: Thailand, India, Bangladesh. And if you decide to go there, carefully choose a place and a hotel.
  • To resorts where there is at least a hint of an unfriendly attitude towards Russians. Your vacation could turn into a nightmare, so read the reviews carefully.
  • In countries where you have to overpay. Holidays in Croatia prefer Montenegro, instead of Thailand choose the Philippines, and prefer Grenada to the Bahamas. There you will find everything the same, but much cheaper.

Montenegro is advised to go to those who decide for the first time to relax at sea abroad. The price-quality ratio is obvious here, besides, there are many advantages to vacationing in distant countries. “Great big beach in the village. Yaz. There are small pebbles on one side and sand on the other. In Budva itself, on the beach - horror, people are dark, so we chose the really best option for us.
“As for food, I’ll say that we spent lunch and dinner on the embankment. They took a shawarma for 3 euros (they have such huge portions), I personally had enough until 9 pm. Beer - 1.5 euros, chicken in pita bread - 3 euros, expensive tea - 3 euros, ice cream - 1.5 euros (also a large portion). There is also a small one - 0.5 cents.

“When calculating the money spent on food, it turned out that food, only food, for two of us in 9 days, with lunch and dinner, cost us 6,000 rubles. for two. I think it’s not expensive at all, provided that you eat what you want, when you want and in any quantities.”

There are many countries and cities in the world. Which of them, according to Western travel agencies, are best suited for summer holidays?

The best countries for summer holidays

Czech

Despite the fact that a significant part of our compatriots have already visited the Czech Republic several times, we can safely say that our tourists still know very little about this country. Offers of tour operators are not particularly diverse: as a rule, everyone sells only tours to Prague and Karlovy Vary. However, the Czech Republic is able to offer its tourists much more. It can be considered amazing that there are 12 unique historical sites included in the UNESCO World Cultural Heritage List. Among them, for example, the old urban ensemble of Cesky Krumlov on the Vltava River with small streets, two-story houses, paved pavements. Moravia is also undeservedly overlooked, because the capital of the medieval Moravian Principality - the city of Olomouc - is located just a three-hour drive from Prague. This is the second city in the Czech Republic in terms of historical sights. Also very popular is the Moravian Kras, which is not far from the city of Brno. It is famous for its beautiful nature and unique Moravian caves, where you can look into the "Macocha" abyss, take a boat ride along the underground river, admire the landscape from the height of the ski lift. The Zlín region, located in South Moravia, is still little known to our tourists. Nowhere in the Czech Republic exists an area that offers mountains, amazing parks, spas, vineyards, a number of ecclesiastical monuments and historical buildings at the same time. The same is true of the famous Czech spas. So far, our tourists are familiar only with Karlovy Vary, Marianske and Frantiskovy Lazne. However, there are only 42 resorts in the Czech Republic, many of which have been familiar to Russian travelers for several centuries. Moreover, these sanatoriums are visited not only by those wishing to receive medical treatment. Here you can combine treatment with excellent rest, visiting ancient parks, monasteries and castles, while indoor sports complexes, first-class restaurants, bars and casinos will allow anyone to relieve the burden of daily stress and gain new mental and physical strength.

Spain

A domestic traveler in Spain gravitates towards the beaches, excursions fade into the background here. That is why 22% of all our tourists go to Catalonia: they are attracted by the northernmost Mediterranean coast of the country, the Costa Brava with a developed infrastructure for recreation and entertainment, the Costa del Maresme with wide sandy beaches and hotels located 300 meters from the coastline, Costa -Dorada - the direction of the mass and the cheapest holiday. However, after the summer session of the university, the best option would be to visit the most party-oriented alma mater in the world - Ibiza. This Ibizan fun started in the 1960s, when the island became a place of pilgrimage for hippies from all over the world. Since then, it has become customary that young people from all over the world come here in search of absolute freedom, thrills and new easy acquaintances. Here you can heartily walk around in a cool outfit and dance at the best discos in the world (it is here, as is commonly believed, that the most 5 * discos are located). There are six main dance clubs on the island: Privilege, Tl Divino, Es Paradis, Amnezia, Space, Pacha, although each hotel has its own small dance floor. All six major giants start at $20, depending on the program. There are many Englishmen among the most famous DJs of Ibiza, why is not known, but it is their musical experiments that most of all turn on lovers of absolute freedom. Moving a little away from the party theme, we can mention that June in Ibiza is good because the air temperature will no longer be below 25 degrees, although there will also be no heat: the sea, lush pines and olive groves affect.

France

"See Paris and die" is no longer relevant. Many have already visited this beautiful European capital, and now the provinces of France are becoming increasingly popular: Brittany, Languedoc-Roussillon, Alsace, Champagne, the cities of Lyon, Bordeaux, Strasbourg. We advise you to start your "examination" from Ile-de-France. These are the neighborhoods of Paris, which, however, have never been on the outskirts of history. It was here that the French kings, hunting and feasting, controlled the fate of the country, here the history of the state was made, here was the heart of royal France - the Palace of Versailles. In historical novels, the Loire River Valley often featured. This is a valley of legends, its appearance was created by the intrigues of illegitimate offspring of royal dynasties, lucky favorites, secret betrayals and brilliant heroes. Not inferior to her and Normandy, which spreads golden beaches in the north-west of France, the coast of the English Channel, just 2-3 hours drive from Paris. In Alsace, there is a huge number of medieval architectural monuments, more than 20 castles built in the XII-XIV centuries. The more contrasting is the abundance of trade and industrial fairs, exhibitions and salons, which Alsace is famous for throughout Europe. Provence is the exact opposite of the fussy Alsace. Here, endless vineyards and olive groves stretch to the horizon, in some places medieval monasteries and villages are visible. And calm Provence, in turn, is opposed by the carefree luxury of the Côte d'Azur, which stretches from Toulon to the Italian border through Cannes and Nice. This country is so many-sided and contrasting that everyone who comes here will have the opportunity to choose and love their own France…

Italy

Our travelers consider Italy, first of all, as a direction of sightseeing and educational tourism. Routes called "Classic Italy" with a tour of world-famous historical and architectural sights, of course, will be of interest to tourists for a long time who do not need to lie down, but want to walk, watch and ride. But in the near future, most of our curious tourists will begin to climb into the less explored "cities and villages" of these countries. By the way, among the Italians themselves, Viareggio, Cattolica, San Benedetto del Tronto, Terracina, Capo Vaticano, Cefalu, Costa Smeralda, the cities of Grado, Pietra Santa, Castiglioncello, Gabbice Mare are now the most popular. For the sea and the sun, they still go to the Adriatic coast with the resorts of Lignano Sabbiadoro Lido di Jesolo, Rimini and Riccione, the Tyrrhenian coast (Naples and Amalfi), the resorts of the regions of Lazio and Tuscany. The resorts of Liguria - San Remo, Portofino, Santa Margherita - are also very popular. This coast is considered a place of leisure for the elite and bohemia. Island Italy also deserves great attention: Ischia, Sardinia, Sicily, especially if you are a connoisseur of the beauties of nature and a lover of a quiet, quiet holiday.

Malta

Malta for our youth is becoming a kind of "extension" - after all, this is a unique case when studying can bring maximum pleasant emotions. Among the places that are especially chosen by the inquisitive guests of Malta, Sliema stands out in particular. The name is associated with fishing: the Maltese word "slim" sailors greeted the Virgin Mary in their prayers. Sliema is the place where you want to live. There are many beautiful shops, a bunch of restaurants and pizzerias, boutiques, banks and elegant houses. St. Julians is an older settlement than Sliema. It originated around the church of St. Julian, the patron saint of hunting. It is a lively place where the Maltese come to spend their evenings and weekends. All possible types of recreation are concentrated here: bowling, a giant cinema with 15 halls, bars, discos, restaurants. The Paceville quarter, which is located above the port, was chosen by young people: in Paceville there is the famous Maltese disco Axis, which is one of the ten best discos in the world. Bugibba and Aura, located north of Paceville, are the very places that are usually called the "resort industry": here is the largest concentration of hotels, attractions, restaurants and cafes, concentrated on the seashore.

Tunisia

Al-Jumhuriya at-Tunisia, or the state of Tunisia, is a fairly young tourist country, its development began only in the 80s of the twentieth century. Nevertheless, modern Tunisia is 1200 kilometers of beaches, hundreds of modern hotels, thermal springs, on which the famous thalassotherapy centers are based, and an unusual number of historical monuments. Some resorts are already filled with thousands of tourists who attract good beaches and low prices, and some are just getting used to, and you have a chance to relax there in relative peace and tranquility. One of these uncrowded resorts is Tabarka - a small town on the northern coast of Tunisia, called "coral". It is located in a cozy bay in the northern part of Tunisia near the border with Algeria, surrounded by hills covered with oaks and pines. Adherents of a passive beach holiday here, in principle, have nothing to do. But if you are a fan of scuba diving, Tabarka suits you perfectly: there are several famous diving centers here, and coastal waters are considered very interesting for diving enthusiasts. Magdia, a small resort town on the Mediterranean coast with luxurious white sand, also has a quiet family vacation. Magdia began to develop somewhat later than other resorts. Now a little more than 10 hotels operate here, and the tourist infrastructure is not yet well developed. Therefore, lovers of vibrant nightlife are better off not going here. To get acquainted with these places, you don’t even need to apply for a visa: a travel agency voucher is enough to enter Tunisia. Another attraction is that if you don't like airplanes, you can get to the country by cruise ship or ferry from Marseille or Genoa, and your beloved car can also be loaded onto the ferry.

Turkey

Turkey for our travelers is a more than familiar place, where only the lazy have not yet gone. Democratic Antalya, Istanbul, Izmir, Side and Alanya have been the most popular tourist areas here for several years. However, in fact, Turkey has much more to offer, and many of its wonderful corners we have yet to discover. Turkey still holds the bar of the most attractive coast for families with children. There is a sea without jellyfish and sharks, shallow sandy beaches, children's pools, water slides, water parks, children's mini-clubs, tireless animators and the most cheerful show programs. For older tourists - rafting, scuba diving, windsurfing, golf, horseback riding, etc. One of the best resorts for families with children is Belek. Magnificent eucalyptus, cedar and pine forests grow here. And, most importantly, many kilometers of wide sandy beaches reign in these possessions. Almost all of them are marked with the "blue flag" - which means the cleanliness and safety of the coast. It should be noted that the resort is quite expensive, there are practically no 3 * hotels. For vibrant nightlife, Marmaris is more suitable, which is located at the junction of the Mediterranean and Aegean seas, surrounded by mountains and pine forests. Bodrum is also called the "city of sleepless nights" - the second party place in Turkey. This trendy youth resort is located 156 km from Marmaris, and for several years it has been a favorite vacation spot for European bohemia. Kusadasi is the exact opposite of noisy Bodrum and Marmaris. It is for those who crave peace and quiet, this resort looks almost uninhabited against the backdrop of the widespread pandemonium that is typical for holidays in Turkey. Here you will find wonderful old quarters with souvenir shops, a Caravanserai in the city center and many traditional taverns.

We will not hide, if you want to spend your holidays in a cheap quality hotel, you better go to Turkey or Cyprus. If your holiday is all about nightlife, you'll like Italy or Spain more. But if you want to spend your holidays surrounded by unique nature, alone with yourself, and not in a crowd of tourists, Croatia will win you over. The Adriatic Sea off the coast of Croatia is considered the cleanest in the world. There are many nature reserves and forest parks here, and the coastline is indented with small bays where you can hide from prying eyes. Now the same coasts, regions and resorts are popular in Croatia, which were chosen by the trade union "vacationers" during the socialist era, when Croatia was part of Yugoslavia. This is Istria with the resorts of Poreč, Pula, Rovinj; Northern Dalmatia, and especially Sibenik; Central Dalmatia - Baska Voda, island Hvar; and South Dalmatia, especially the world famous Dubrovnik, Plat, Cavtat and the islands of Kolocep, Korcula and Mljet.
