Chiffon is a thin and rather revealing fabric, so if you use one layer of this material, you need to sew an inner sheath. For such a dress base, thin knitwear, silk or viscose is most often used.

The work is carried out according to the same patterns as main part. The seams will be located inside, so that the front of the cover will connect to the wrong side of the chiffon.

take the necessary measurements;
calculate and draw patterns on paper in full size;
carefully transfer the pattern to the fabric, pinning the paper with pins. Remember: "measure seven times, cut one";
cut the material, not forgetting to leave allowances of 2–3 cm for seams;
proceed to assemble the parts, first sweeping them by hand, and then fastening them on a typewriter.

Before you sew parts on a typewriter, do not forget about the control fitting. This will help to avoid errors in the finished product.
