Spain resort: Lloret de Mar hotels and attractions.

Lloret de Mar: Real Spain or Resort Spain? The most popular city on the Costa Brava in detail: where to stay, what to see and which beach is best?

Europe, and indeed abroad, began for us precisely from this party place in Spain.

Lloret de Mar perfectly matched our input data: Schengen in the passport, a couple of hundred euros in your pocket and a burning fuse to relax brightly and see sunny Spain.

The history of the former fishing village of Lloret de Mar in Spain continues today, first of all, as a beach-burning resort.

Real life here begins at nightfall: there are more than 400 bars, restaurants and clubs in the city, each of which strives to stand out with its original program and lure tourists into large quantity cocktails 🙂 World-famous DJs, music from the 80s and 90s, salsa motifs, laser shows and theme parties - there is no limit to the entertainment madness. Therefore, basically, the youth contingent from all Europe gathers. By the way, the Germans admiringly call Lloret de Mar the second Spanish Ibiza.

Surprisingly, frequent guests here are also pensioners, who are attracted by inexpensive hotels - good "triples" - and the Mediterranean Sea. By the way, we also rested in 3 stars. Family holidays with children, as practice shows, is also relevant, but only when living in a quiet part of the city near the Fenals beach (Platja de Fenals). There is just a choice of 4-5 * all-inclusive hotels, which is ideal for a trip with a child.

Coming to Spain in Lloret de Mar is definitely worth it for three reasons:

  1. Relaxed rhythm of life on the beach. During the day, everyone relaxes by the sea, at night they gather in nightclubs along the coast.
  2. The city is convenient as a starting point for trips to completely different directions: shopping outlets, Girona, Barcelona, Andorra and even France.
  3. Well, the main thing is that it is much cheaper to rest here!

Weather in Lloret de Mar - when is the best time to go?

When is the best time to go to Lloret de Mar? High season, in theory, lasts from May to October. In fact, the peak of tourist pilgrimage falls on July-August. We went on a tour in early May, it is cool to swim at this time, but +20 degrees of heat is ideal for walking and lying on the beach. Therefore, we liked visiting Andorra, Montserrat, Barcelona and Girona doubly 🙂

The autumn and spring months are not super popular, then the water does not warm up, then the rain gets wet. However, the weather in Lloret de Mar is conducive beach holiday and these "unclaimed" periods. On the contrary, we advised you to go at this time - tours are much cheaper 🙂 The climate in the region is very mild: in winter, the air temperature even at night almost never drops below +10°C, and in summer you rarely see more than +28°C on a thermometer. Although on our trip on our own in 2017 it was more than +30°C. Once in a while it doesn't have to. We also went to Barcelona in May 2018 and the weather was great! (+21..+24°C)

In principle, everyone sets their own priorities, but, in our opinion, to fully enjoy the picturesque nature of Lloret de Mar - bays with rocks protruding from emerald water, green hills, pine forests - and Spain as a whole will turn out exactly in the initial and final intervals season.

Where to buy tours to Spain? (Costa Brava)

We went on a tour, and at that time it cost a ridiculous amount - about 20,000 rubles for one person for 7 days. Then we went to agencies in search of the cheapest tours, there were no sites for online booking. In 2019, the price tag is slightly higher, but the best deals can now be found online yourself:

First of all, best offers from all tour operators are collected on one site (as in Booking). Secondly, there is no extra charge for the work of a travel agent / rent of premises / cookies in the office. Thirdly, you are the master of your choice, protected from the skillful pressure of third parties 🙂 Read honest reviews about hotels, look at photos and decide whether to take or look further. Often, having seen a tour on the agency’s website and coming to their office, such a price is no longer found. Online, this is not a problem.

Tours to Lloret de Mar in 2019 cost an average of 48,000 rubles per week for two, subject to early booking at least 2 months in advance.

You can count on last-minute tours to the Costa Brava, but, of course, closer to the height of the hot season (July-August). By the way, you can buy a tour to Spain before the start of the season in May even cheaper.

Things to Do in Lloret de Mar

What to see in Lloret de Mar? Excursion tours will undoubtedly offer a rich program, but you probably know how it usually happens. If not galloping around Europe, then with the delivery to all sorts of places to shake off money 🙂

Building your route is easy. It is in this corner of Spain that, first of all, it is worth seeing the symbol of the city - the Castell de Sant Joan castle, located on a hill. Worthy of attention are the picturesque gardens by the sea of Saint Clotilde, an unusual cemetery (Modernist Cemetery), where you can see the real Catalan Art Nouveau of many family crypts and tombstones, the Maritime Museum in a mansion on the city embankment. Also of interest is the "Cat's House" - a unique museum dedicated to purring animals.

As for the surroundings:

  • Monastery of Montserrat with the Black Madonna- the patroness of Catalonia, towering on the mountains of amazing shape. Here we climbed up the hiking trails and saw the monastery from the top of the mountains. Fresh mountain air upstairs 🙂

A little advice: it is better to look for Russian guides on the spot, not from a travel agency. If there are two of you, then you can team up with other tourists and in the 4-6th go to explore places in comfortable conditions, and it will be easier to decide to leave faster or stay easier)

First trip abroad - May 2014

  • - an hour from Lloret de Mar by bus. We went there for 1 day on our own without guides. We walked around the city, sat in a cafe. A one-way bus ticket then cost around 3-5 euros.

Went for 10 euros round trip to Girona

  • Andorra- it is also advantageous to go here with a personal guide by car (you can use the same one with which you went to Montserrat). Ideal for shopping, walking with mountain views. My friends liked it very much, but they left about 300 euros there, having bought a lot of good clothes.
  • - we went to the capital of Catalonia on a tour from the hotel, I don’t remember the exact cost, but next time I would also gather a company and rent a car. I remember that the bus was not very convenient, you are very dependent on other groups and you are afraid to be late and be left alone. 🙂 We advise anyone to go to Barcelona at least for 1-3 days, now this is our favorite city.

Park GĂĽell was still free in 2014

  • Port Aventura- a must visit place if you like amusement parks. So far, while we visited, this is the best and cheapest park in the world 🙂 In the same Universal Studio (were in Los Angeles), there is no such thing. Then (in 2013) a ticket cost about 23 euros, now from 55 euros per adult (although it is worth noting that Ferrari Land has been added). Be sure to ride Shambhala. We rode it as many as 2 times.
  • Church of Sant RomĂ  (Sant Roma) in Catalan Gothic style
  • theater-museum of the genius of surrealism Salvador Dali in Figueres and Pubol Castle(Gala Dali)

With children, you can still go to Water Park, Marineland water park or look at animals in the Aqualeon mini-zoo.

In Spain, tourists will also be interested in numerous sculptures that fascinate with their monumentality. Do not forget to make a wish at the monument to the fisherwoman, and it will surely come true. Donna Marinera is installed at the end of the Central Beach, and nearby is a magnificent observation deck.

Excursions from Lloret de Mar

What to do besides sightseeing in Lloret de Mar? Spain is traditionally loved for sea waves and sun!

First trip to Europe (Lloret de Mar, May 2014)

The beaches of the Costa Brava are officially recognized as one of the best in the world. The most popular of them:

  • The central beach of Lloret de Mar, with a length of 1630 m (on the photo is just it). The most noisy, crowded and haunting at night nearby hotels
  • the second largest is the Fenals beach, surrounded by a pine forest and especially visited by Russian tourists. Here the situation is calmer, and the beach itself is clean and well-groomed.
  • especially beautiful and secluded - Sa Boadeia beach - with a "children's" area in one part of it and a nudist one in the other
  • a cozy beach located on the way to Blanes - Santa Cristina
  • beach in the picturesque bay of Sa Caleta not far from the Central beach.

The weather in Lloret de Mar allows you to go to the beaches and “get” a golden tan in the spring, but it’s better to wait until the end of May or the beginning of June with swimming.
The price for an umbrella and sunbed is €14 (7+7).

The best resort hotels

Where to stay? We have made a selection of good hotels in the resort. About "all inclusive" and Lloret de Mar: Spain is generally not famous for its quality and adequate cost all inclusive(except Mallorca), so it is better to choose the good old half board (breakfast and dinner) or full board (3 meals a day).

Please note that the price is for a tour for two in the season for 7 nights with a flight from Moscow.

The fact that Lloret de Mar was once an unremarkable fishing village is now even hard to imagine. Today it is a very pleasant Mediterranean town, which attracts a huge number of tourists. The sights of Lloret de Mar are very diverse. Here you can just walk and enjoy the atmosphere of carelessness, or you can arrange a busy vacation for yourself, since there is something to do in the city.

Beaches and clubs - that's what European youth come here for. For partygoers, these are the main attractions of Lloret de Mar.

Interestingly, even residents of Barcelona often visit Lloret de Mar for the weekend to dance until the morning to the music of the most fashionable DJs. By the way, famous DJs very often come to Lloret de Mar on tour, whose tracks are on the top lines of the world charts. If you also like noisy parties, then you should definitely visit several local establishments. St.Trop is a huge club that has been considered one of the best in Lloret de Mar for over 30 years. The oldest club is Bumper's. It was opened back in 1978 in the very center of the city. From April to October, you can dance until you drop at least every day. Well, the most pretentious place in Lloret de Mar is considered to be the Prive de Magic Disco club.

The city has a lot of bars and restaurants for every taste.

After parties, young people sleep off, and after dinner they pull up to the beach. The beaches here are excellent - there are sun loungers, umbrellas, cabanas everywhere. Sea entertainment: "bananas", pedal boats, sailing schools, windsurfing and much more. Take note of only one nuance - Sa Boadella beach was chosen by nudists.

Among the attractions of Lloret de Mar, it is worth noting the castle of Sant Joan, built in the 11th century to protect the city and residents from pirates. This is one of the oldest buildings in Lloret de Mar. The castle has seen a lot in its lifetime. Several times the structure was destroyed due to enemy attacks and earthquakes, but it was always rebuilt. Today Sant Joan looks the same as it did in the 15th and 16th centuries. If you want to know a little more about this beautiful city, then by all means go to the museum located in the castle.

The most touristic place, without a doubt, can be called the center of the Old Town. Here you should pay attention to the ancient church of San Roma and the monastery of Santa Cristina.

Saint Christina is the patroness of Lloret de Mar.

  • Where to stay: In one of the oldest resorts on the coast - the picturesque Blanes, in the main party place of the Costa Brava and the city with a rich "excursion" - Lloret de Mar, or in the proud owner of long beaches and excellent hotels Palamose. A calm, measured rest surrounded by very beautiful nature awaits tourists in Playa de Aro.
  • What to watch: Botanical Garden, San Juan Castle and a popular promenade in

In the southern part of the Costa Brava (one of the most popular holiday destinations in Spain), 70 kilometers from Barcelona, there is a small but very pretty town - Lloret de Mar.

It will be interesting for anyone to visit Lloret de Mar, but today it still has earned a reputation as a youth resort. In addition to the beaches, there is everything you need for an incendiary party holiday - excellent discos, bars and nightclubs with entertainment programs that transform the city after sunset literally beyond recognition. There is even a casino in the city.

It is not for nothing that this amazing place enjoys such fame among vacationers - cozy bays, majestic cliffs descending to the sea, pine groves, which seem to rise to the very water, make the town incredibly picturesque and attractive for everyone who comes here. In addition, thanks to such an “environment” (rocky ledges), there is almost never a wind here.

The city has more than a hundred hotels of different categories, more than two hundred restaurants, cafes and eateries. But main reason crowds of young people - it's a very lively nightlife. So do not be surprised if you see young people sleeping on the beach at seven in the morning. By noon there will be many more.

Beaches

On the beaches (and there are five of them), stretching for 7 kilometers along the coastline, such perfect cleanliness is maintained that they have been awarded the blue flag. By the way, coarse-grained sand does not stick to the skin at all, but you cannot build sand castles from it (parents with children should keep in mind).

The central beach is almost always crowded, so for peace and quiet you will have to walk to neighboring bays or get to public transport to neighboring resorts. Those who like to soak up in a calm atmosphere are better off looking for another resort or based away from the central part of Lloret.

What to watch?

Since those ancient times, some architectural structures have remained, reminiscent of the former glory of the city - for example, the parish church. Built around 1522, it draws the eye with its gothic style, bright mosaic decor adorning the turrets and walls.

The statue "" is already a relatively recent attraction, however, it would not hurt to visit it: after all, as the legend says, if you stand nearby and touch her feet, look into the distance just like a statue, you can quite see your future. True, in fact, they look completely in the wrong direction and hug the wrong leg at all :)

If you come with children, do not forget to go to "" - the famous water park.

Work is underway!

Dear visitors! My site is in the midst of an epochal redesign, so I apologize for any inconvenience that you may see in some of the posts. I'll fix everything soon. Thanks for understanding! eight)

Spain resort: Lloret de Mar hotels and attractions

The next point on the map of Spain for me was resort town Loret de Mar on the Costa Brava.

In Lloret, according to reviews on tourist sites, I chose the Selvamar Hotel, about which I had an ambiguous opinion.

According to reviews on the Internet, by the way, this is the second time that travel forums have been deceiving me, and instead of almost “four” stars, I would give the hotel where I checked in almost two stars. Here I learned what it means to have monotonous and dull breakfasts, non-working gym, almost white towels and a staircase at the entrance, almost as long as the famous Odessa one, along which I had to drag my bag on wheels myself.

And so, I remembered every step of this staircase, and thanks to which this hotel received my bile ratings. Although the hotel, as they wrote on the Internet, is really quite large, with a vast green area and a half-empty pool, of which there are two. But there were no people in the pool, probably also because the water was unheated, and the temperatures in September were no longer summer.

But the hotel has Internet, though the computer with the monitor is so ancient that I thought such things no longer exist in nature. The computer worked on the principle of a condom machine, in its case there was a coin acceptor.

You throw a coin of a few euro cents or euros into the coin acceptor, after that something buzzes in the computer, the screen blinks frequently and turns on, eating away your eyes and making you cry all the 15 minutes that it takes to send a simple text e-mail.

In addition to the beach and evening bars, in my opinion, there is frankly nothing to do in Loret, a very boring town. And I definitely can’t make me happy with bars and discos 8)

Another drawback of Lloret de Mar is the lack of its own railway line, this is somewhat offset by a bus that will take you to the railway station of the town of Blanes.

But, of course, this option is not the most attractive, because. the bus is more limited in travel time and on your own, without a group, go to Barcelona, for example, to the singing fountains, which start working at 10-11 pm, you may not catch the bus, which means you will have to return by taxi. And it is very, very expensive. A couple of hundred euros may well be enough.

An hour, a maximum of one and a half hours is enough to go through the center of Loreta from beginning to end. It starts with shopping center, in which there is nothing remarkable, except for McDonald's. It is here that the heart of the nightlife of the town is located, with bars and discos, they are further along the coastline, but not with such an active life.

And at the end of the embankment there is an old tower, which, by the end of my vacation, was blocked for tourists to ferment. According to rumors, some girl bought it for herself.

So I was lucky, I can show myself and the steep slopes of the fortress and the view from it to the coast in the photographs.

Shopping here is also concentrated along the coastline and two more streets parallel to the coast, which are the very center of Barcelona. There are several local outlets here, all of them are concentrated on the streets next to the local church, so if you want to do some shopping in the capital of Catalonia, go straight to the church and systematically go around all the shops, it will take you no more than an hour, and if you really try , two hours. Because most shops sell surprisingly the same tourist souvenirs, such as beach towels (from 5-10 euros), caps from 1 euro, beach bags from 1 to 10 euros.

In addition, authentic souvenirs: Spanish wine, Toledo gold, dresses in spanish style, castanets and fans, as well as standard Chinese balls, plates and ceramics. What may be interesting are local candle shops, here you can buy very beautiful candles, though I can’t use them otherwise than just figurines, they are painfully beautiful.

And for football fans, there are a couple of shops of football paraphernalia of the Barça club. One of them is located at the foot of the Selvamar hotel, which I respect, and the prices here are slightly lower than in the shop in the center of Lloret.

In general, it makes sense to go to Spain for football fans, as the country lives for them so much that those who love this atmosphere will be very comfortable here. Firstly, there are a lot of bars here with broadcasts of matches, and if you manage to get to the stadium, it will generally be an unforgettable experience from the opportunity to feel the spirit of real world football. Of course, football is the No. 1 sport here, I think you can only find local residents more shifted on this subject in Brazil or Argentina. And, well, in Italy.

By the way, in sea museum you can get information on Lloret and its map, although you probably won't need it, it's such a small town. Moreover, if you were able to find the Museum of the Sea, this means that you have already passed half of the city, well, or almost half.

As a beach country Spain, I didn't like it either. In general, Thailand still holds the first place among all beach countries which I have seen so far. But on the other hand, the water on the coast is clear, unlike the same resorts of Costa Dorada, where the sand is finer and muddies the water.

Here the sand is very coarse - almost pebbles, on which it is painful to walk barefoot. Rather narrow strips of the beach area are strewn with seal-like European pensioners and Russian tourists.

And seal-like European pensioners sunbathe topless without much hesitation, not paying attention to the aesthetic feelings of others and the norms of public morality. Well, oh well.

There are a lot of compatriots on the beach Lloret de mar. Which in any country is always seen and heard from afar.

And in the sea, small jellyfish were observed, which, no, no, and swam out from somewhere. And somehow it was unpleasant to realize that she could swim up from somewhere from behind. Last September, the water was very cold, maybe it was just such a season, but 20-21 degrees for me is almost winter swimming.

And there are a lot of Indians here. Everything would be fine, but apparently our compatriots have already managed to make themselves a good name not only in Turkey and Egypt. And these Spanish Raja Kapoors, who are 80% of the employees of local catering and hotels, cause some inconvenience with their obsession. Therefore, my holiday in Spain could hardly be called calm.

Actually, because of what I will not go to the designated Turkey and Egypt, overtook me here. According to the reaction of this audience, there was a feeling that it was not me walking down the street, but at least naked Pamela Anderson. Or who is the idol of modern youth there now?

Oh, on earth, in my opinion, there are very few places where you can relax alone. And this is again because of the malicious Russian tourists who, in search of personal happiness, create a negative reputation for all single Russian tourists.

Paella (rice with seafood and vegetables) is a must-try in Spain. Here they have a huge variety of varieties, delicious to disgrace! True, I did not understand how paella fundamentally differs from Italian risotto, but here this dish has its own romantic story.

One poor young man called his beloved for dinner, but he had nothing to feed her, and so he gathered everything he had and prepared such dishes. Para ella means "for her"... a romantic dish worth trying.

I went on some kind of excursion, which I don’t remember the name of, something like an imitation of a medieval show. The show, frankly, is very mediocre and, like the cardboard crown that they give out to everyone at the entrance, is not worth a single eurocent spent. But at least I watched some Spanish flamenco.

In my opinion, on Tuesdays or Thursdays, I will not lie from 9.00. until 14.00. next to the bus station there is a local bazaar where you can buy all kinds of Chinese junk, as well as high-quality artichokes (!), Well, other products and things, and even flowers in pots. If you are not interested in any of the above, do not go there, do not waste your time, especially since there is always an incredible flea market in which you can get lost yourself and simply lose all the money and valuables you have with you, there are plenty of thug-like population here.

In general, as I said, Lloret is a very small town, and apart from the beach and excursions, you will have nothing to do here. Well, discos can be good, but I'm not a big fan of them.

You can take a boat ride along the coast of Costa Brava, you can go to Girona and visit the Salvador Dali Museum, which I will talk about separately.

There is another option, periodically travel to Barcelona to brighten up your leisure time, to go around all the museums and do parallel shopping. But not a cheap pleasure, I’ll forgive you to settle for a few days in Barcelona

- a town on the northern coast of Spain. If you call it correctly in terms of Catalan pronunciation, you get a variant of Ioret de Mar. Having opened this place in the distant nineties, our compatriots did not think about the rules, therefore, in Russian, the name of the city sounds like Loret de Mar. It is the wrong name that has become firmly established in all reference books and guides, you will have to stick to it, so in this article the town will appear under the name Lloret de Mar. Helpful advice- When communicating with local taxi drivers, try to pronounce the name as close to the true sound as possible, you can save both time and money.

History of Lloret de Mar, located on

The city of Lloret de Mar dates back to the 4th century BC, the settlements on this site were founded by Iberian tribes, theoretically Lloret de Mar is the same age as Barcelona. During the excavations, Lloret de Mar turned out to be incredibly rich in discoveries, it became clear that the inhabitants had extensive connections. And then the history of the Spanish city is similar to the history of all cities. The Iberians were replaced by the Romans, the Romans were replaced by the Goths. The Romans were distinguished by the fact that they renamed cities Latin names, Lloret de Mar did not escape this fate, having received the name Lauretum, that is, the city of laurel trees. Today, this historical fact is preserved on the coat of arms of Lloret de Mar in the form of a laurel tree, although you will not find the trees themselves in this territory. By the 11th century, the name had changed slightly to Loredo.

Initially, there were no coastal settlements, people tried to settle more safely, but as soon as the city came under the control of the Viscount of Girona, everything changed.

At this time, the Castell de Sant Joan castle was erected on the top of the mountain, protecting the locals from pirate raids. By the fourteenth century, the city began to shift to the location that exists now, and the parish church began to protect Lloret de Mar from pirates, the bell tower of which was fenced with a wall with loopholes, and still surrounded by a deep moat with a drawbridge.
From the end of the eighteenth century, the province grew rich thanks to the port and the free trade decree.

They traded olive oil, wine, textiles, salt, flour, and bought leather, sugar, tobacco, coffee and rum. Shipyards during this period worked at full capacity. The captains of the ships were often players in the trading business, considering risk a noble cause, most of them lived in two houses - in Spain and in America, the preparation of the whole event took a lot of time and effort. This situation left its somewhat sarcastic imprint on the appearance of Lloret de Mar.

The city was then decorated with the most expensive architectural structure - a cemetery created in the Art Nouveau style by the best architects of that time. The best during the heyday was not created, because they preferred to leave the money overseas.

By the end of the nineteenth century, the Spaniards were returning home, having lost overseas possessions. Returning to Lloret de Mar, the "Americans", or, as they were also called, "Indians", brought money and their usual way of life. If you look closely, it is easy to see that most of the rich houses "with history" built in the vicinity of Loreta were built in a typical Latin American style. For 40 years, during which those who left returned back, the city was fundamentally changed, between 1880 and 1920 new buildings of the mayor's office and school appeared, the church was reconstructed, the seaside boulevard was laid.

The civil war stopped growth for a long time, Lloret de Mar lost a lot during this period: there was no trade, the shipyard stopped working, agriculture and fishing remained. The population began to decline.

Saved Lloret de Mar interest in sea recreation, which made it the center of tourism for. incredible beaches, comfortable rest and converted "master's houses", most adapted for tourist hotels, were waiting for tourists, they were not slow to take advantage of this tempting offer.

Lloret de Mar also has a very successful geographic location, as it lies on a plain, surrounded by hills. As a result, there is enough space for development not only for hotels, but also for the construction of entertainment facilities. Lloret de Mar is growing in size every year, so the possibility of its confluence with neighboring Blanes is already visible to the naked eye.

Lloret de Mar is not only the city itself, but also the nearby villages, located from Blanes to Tosa de Mar. Most often, the inhabitants of these places say that they live in Lloret de Mar. The city has established itself as one of the most popular resorts.

A confusing situation with navigation associated with urbanization, residents often indicate the address in this order: street and house, urbanization, city, province, postal code. But in GPS navigators, the fact of the existence of urbanizations is not indicated in any way, so the street must be looked for in the city to which the village is administratively related.

Lloret de Mar, Spain

The name of the street is often Catalan-Spanish, which is not taken into account by all navigators. The navigator in this situation often becomes the culprit of many hours of searching for the right address, it turns out that sometimes it’s easier to ask how to get there than to drive around the bush.

Lloret de Mar has become popular in many respects thanks to transport. Railway in the presence of a huge number of bonuses, it brought an uncomfortable location near the beach to seaside towns. Luckily and fortunately, Lloret de Mar is one of the few cities without a railway line near the beach. There is, of course, a minus, it takes longer to get to Barcelona.

Each train, which arrives every half an hour, is served by a bus going through Lloret de Mar to Tossa de Mar. On the one hand, it is convenient, on the other hand, four kilometers of travel will take you about half an hour.

Lloret de Mar and the entire Costa Brava are still not intended for permanent residence people who need to be in Barcelona every day. There are several terms associated with living in this place. Urbanization - from Spanish urbanizaciĂłn or Catalan urbanitzaciĂł, settlements without developed infrastructure and division into streets and quarters.

The next important concept is "kala", that is, the bay. And the last - "playa" - the beach. translated as "Steep coast", the presence of bays in these places means resort life. The slopes of the mountains facing the sea are densely built up, while the opposite ones are empty. The explanation is simple - there is light on these slopes all day, but the windows and terraces of houses on the reverse side may not see the light all day.

Tourists have long and firmly chosen this place for seasonal entertainment. Sun, sea, beach and lots of entertainment venues- all this makes Lloret de Mar one of the most favorite places among international youth who come to hang out in Spain. Therefore, if you are thinking of settling in Lloret for a month - another - let's say right away, this is far from the best town to live in.
