I live near a big shopping centre. It is located in a spacious modern building with 4 floors. It has been opened recently and already become a popular place. There are numerous shops located under one roof. You can buy clothes, shoes, household appliances and children goods there.

Downstairs, on the ground floor, there is a huge supermarket where we do our weekly food shopping. Various cafes and other eateries are also located there. Right in the middle of the shopping center there is a big beautiful fountain with a lot of benches around it.

There are shops on the first and second floors. I like this shopping center because you can buy nearly everything there. They sell outer clothing, outfits for youngsters, casual and office clothes, shoes, sportswear, accessories and a lot more. There are also other shops where you can buy home furnishings, household appliances and mobile phones. There is a big store with goods for babies and children. While parents do their shopping, children can play in the soft play area.

On the top floor there is a cinema, bowling center and some fine dining restaurants. I often come here with my friends. Sometimes we just sit and chat in one of the cafes or go to the cinema to watch the latest movies.

Big shopping centers are better than a street of shops

I belive that big shopping centers are better than a street of shops. Firstly, big shopping centers accommodate a wide variety of shops and various firms while a street of shops belongs just to one of the firms. For example, the shopping center "MEGA" in Ekaterinburg includes shops of firms "Kira Plastinina", "H&M" , hypermarket IKEA, grocery hypermarket "Auchan", OBI, "M. Video" and others.

Secondly, in a street of shops things may be of lower guality than in the shopping centers but at the same time things have different prices in a street of shops and shopping centres.

In my opinion, big shopping centers are better than a street of shops. In big shopping centers you can find everything that you need without leaving the building.

I think big malls are better than shopping street. Firstly, large shopping centers include a greater number of various shops, firms, while small shops on the streets most often belong to only one firm. For example, the MEGA shopping center in Yekaterinburg includes stores of Kira Plastinina, Yu H&M, IKEA hypermarket, Auchan grocery hypermarket, OBI, M. Video and others.

Secondly, in stores on a shopping street, things may be of lower quality than in large shopping centers, but at the same time, things may have different prices in stores on the street and in a shopping center.

In my opinion, big malls are better than shopping streets. In large shopping centers you can find everything you need without leaving one building.
