After the room thermostat is activated, the electrothermal drive opens or closes the shutter of the valve that controls the flow of the coolant.
The actuator is actuated by an expansion wax thermostat which heats up a resistor which automatically limits the current flow when the operating temperature is reached.

To install the electrothermal actuator, the handle must be removed (the lower nut is unscrewed), for manual control it is necessary to remove the electrothermal actuator.
