Box with Filter (type: KF 3, KF 6, KF 9, KF 12, KF 18), And Sterilization Box Round with Filter(type: KSKF 3, KSKF 6, KSKF 9, KSKF 12, KSKF 18) or medical biceps for sterilization- absolutely similar in purpose and use, differ slightly in design and manufacturer - designed to place medical items and materials in it, such as dressings, heat-resistant syringes, surgical linen, surgical material and other medical items in order to sterilize them in steam sterilizers and delivery to the place of use, as well as sterile storage of all contents for 20 days.
Bixes for sterilization (KF round sterilization box with filters) - made of corrosion-resistant, non-magnetic polished stainless steel (ISO 9001), recommended for use in medical equipment, equipped with replaceable filters made of cotton fabric (from filter diagonal article 2074/100 GOST 332- 91.)
The composition of the sterilization round box with a filter (KF):
- Frame
- pen
- lid
- Castle
- filter (2 pcs.)
- clamp
- latch

- retainer

Filters for sterilization boxes make it possible to sterilize medical items and materials in steam sterilizers under pressure (0.2 ± 0.02) MPa, at a temperature of 132 ± 2 ° C for 20 minutes or under pressure (0.11 ± 0. 02) MPa, at a temperature of 120 ºС for 45 minutes, while the filters are suitable for microbiological filtration of the air during subsequent storage. To replace used filters, the company produces sets of spare filters for sterilization boxes of all sizes. The kit contains two filters. One package contains 5 sets of filters for boxes of the same size. Spare filter kits can also be used to replace filters in KF round sterilization boxes. Since 2004, filters of the same standard size of KSKF and KF boxes are completely interchangeable!
Sterilization box KF and sterilization box KSKF - during operation it is forbidden to use without filters!
Bix medical KF has a warranty period of 36 months
Package: The KF box and the KSKF box are sold only assembled, inside the box there is an instruction manual (manufacturer's passport) and 2 filters. Complete sterilization box with filters - packed in an individual packaging container (branded cardboard box).
Peculiarities: The sterilization box KF (medical bix with a filter) manufactured by JSC "DZMO" (Doschatinsky plant of medical equipment) in its design does not provide for any rubber seals, since it applies special technology rolling sheet metal, and also has metal legs on the base of the body 3, which provide a guaranteed gap for the passage of steam when installing the boxes in the sterilizer on top of each other - this is a significant technical advantage over other box manufacturers.

Replaceable filter for KF and KSKF boxes

The filter for the sterilization box KF and KSKF is made of dense cotton fabric specially designed for this purpose - filter diagonal article 2074/100 GOST 332-91. Fabric filter diagonal
produced by interlacing twill equilateral four-shaft. Filters are reusable and easy to dispose of by burning, guaranteed to withstand at least 60 sterilization cycles - is a consumable replacement material, so additional filters of all sizes can be purchased separately. A set of filters for the box KF and KSKF consists of 2 pieces. Filters for sterilization boxes KSKF are installed in special places on the bottom and lid of the box. The KF filter is placed under the clamp and latched with a latch (KSKF) or under a screw latch (KF). Spare filter kits can also be used to replace filters in KF sterilization round boxes. Starting from 2004, filters of the same standard size of KSKF and KF boxes are interchangeable.

If the universal filter is larger than the seat on the sterilization box, its edges (surplus) are cut off with ordinary scissors, as well as the mounting hole (the filter is folded in half 2 times and the tip is cut off).

With this product also buy:

STERILIZATION BOXES- containers for placing dressings, surgical linen, surgical instruments, gloves and other items during their sterilization, delivery to the place of use and subsequent short-term storage (bixes). Page to. allow to create in to lay down. - the prof. institutions, a reserve of sterile materials for urgent surgical interventions and contribute to the centralized use of sterilization equipment (see Scientific organization of labor).

In the second half of the 19th century in Moscow, G. V. Mendel proposed the use of zinc boxes for placing dressings in them during sterilization. Later, for tools during autoclaving, Braatz (E. Braatz) proposed wire baskets (Braatz boxes), and Dyurssen (A. Diihrssen) - tin cylindrical boxes with holes around the perimeter, in the bottom and lid. K. Schimmelbusch used a tetrahedral box with a slatted bottom (Shimmelbusch box) to sterilize materials.

Currently, round and rectangular S. to., with a filter and without a filter. Their main specifications are given in the table.

Round S. to. without the filter (biksy) are intended for use in sterilizers (see), having mainly a cylindrical sterilization chamber. They consist of a body, a cover and a belt moving along the body (Fig. 1). There are holes in the case and in the belt, which are combined for the period of sterilization (before being placed in the sterilizer). When unloading S. to. from a sterilizer the belt is displaced, closing thus. openings so that sterile instruments and materials located in S. to. do not come into contact with the air of the room. The sterility of the material is maintained for up to 3 days. The belt is equipped with a tension lock, which excludes its spontaneous movement.

For a longer preservation of the sterility of materials (up to 20 days), S. are used to. round type KSPF (Fig. 2) and rectangular type KSPF (Fig. 3). They are supplied biol. a filter made of textile materials (filter diagonal, non-woven napkin, bleaching calico, calico, madapolam, etc.), which are attached with inside cases and covers.

It is recommended to put a gasket (cotton cloth, gauze or other material) on the bottom of the S. to. Before laying materials in it, the moisture accumulating after sterilization will be absorbed into it. Separate items (tools, gloves) before laying in S. to. it is better to wrap a double layer of gauze and loosely (on the edge) lay in S. to. Linen, dressing material should be folded into flat bags and placed without sealing in S. to. also on the edge so that the palm freely enters between them. When closing S. to. the cover is locked. The lid should not compress the contents of S. to. During sterilization, to control the temperature in S. to. use samples with substances whose melting point is known (sulfur melts at 115 °, benzoic acid at 122 °, etc.). These substances in the form of a powder in vials or test tubes are placed in S. to. among the material to be sterilized, and at the end of sterilization it is checked whether the powder has melted or not. Sometimes indicators are added to the powder - safranin, brilliant green, etc., which color them at the moment of melting in the appropriate color. A tag is attached to the lock of the closed lid, which indicates the date of sterilization, the name of the employee who performed the styling, a list of sterilization objects located in the S. to., and with a centralized sterilization department.
