Tver College of Trade and Economics- state budgetary educational institution of secondary vocational education. Founded in 1947. It trains specialists in various specialties in economics, business and management.

In Tver, training is conducted in three educational buildings, depending on the specialty. There are computer classes, a production base where students-technologists study cooking, technological standards. Preparatory courses are organized for applicants. The college has more than 70 teachers, among them the holders of the first and highest qualification categories.

Interest clubs work for students - tourism, ecology, culinary, information technology, sports and fitness, law, design, Russian language. Students and teachers participate in events on the ecology of the city and the region, hiking trips, and organize joint holidays. Internship abroad. During the summer months, technology students do internships at the Krasnaya Talka sanatorium on the Black Sea coast.

Story

The history of the college began in 1947 with an educational and consulting center at the Correspondence College of Soviet Trade.

After almost half a century, the educational and consulting center became a full-fledged branch of the Moscow Correspondence Technical School of Soviet Trade, and later the technical school was renamed the trade and economic one.

Since 1996, the educational institution has the status of an independent state educational institution of the Ministry economic development and trade of the Russian Federation.

In 2008, it was transformed into the Tver Trade and Economic College - a federal state educational institution of secondary vocational education, abbreviated as FGOU SPO "TTEK". Since 2012, the legal name is the state budgetary educational institution of secondary vocational education "Tver Trade and Economic College".
