Upon the death of actor Andrei Panin, a criminal case was initiated - however, not under the article "Murder" - but under Part 4, Art. 111 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation "Causing grievous bodily harm, negligently resulting in the death of the victim."

After the tragedy, Panin's friends expressed several versions of what could happen to him on that March evening of 2013 in the apartment in which, according to Panin himself, he was resting from work and family problems. The artist did not really like to talk on personal topics, but it was already known that he left the family two years before his death.
With the mother of their children, Natalia Rogozhkina, they lived together for many years. True, they signed only in 2006 - after 13 years of family life. And in 2011 they divorced. The ex-wife of the actor also did not particularly like to talk about the personal. But the reasons for the breakup were already clear - Andrei Panin often went on a "spree". So much so that it was no longer up to the family and not to work.
According to Panin's friends, on such days (or even weeks) he closed himself in an apartment, where he drank sometimes alone, and sometimes with drinking companions. One of his colleagues recalls such an incident. One day Andrei suddenly disappeared - right in the middle of an important filming process. Three days before he could not get through. The hotel said that he left in the morning and did not return. The producers sounded the alarm: a simple filming resulted in a tidy sum! But Panin did not turn on the mobile phone. And only after a few days of searching, the director of the actor Gennady Rusin found him in the metropolitan drug treatment clinic under a dropper and found out what had happened.
And everything was as always. Tipsy Panin decided to go to Finland, where he got drunk already to the point of unconsciousness. True, at the same time, Panin could not remember how he ended up in Moscow as a result. Probably the world is not without good people.

By the way, video cameras are installed everywhere in the entrance of the house on Balaklavsky Prospekt, where the artist died. In those days, all TV channels in the news broadcasts showed recordings in which Andrei was alone. However, his neighbors are surprised.
One of them, in a private conversation with reporters, said that the concierge saw him that day with a certain young man of oriental appearance, who looked like a guest worker. And this "Asian" after some time rolled head over heels down the stairs and rushed past the watch.
According to neighbors, Asian hard workers from the construction site, which was located not far from his house, often visited him. They say he felt sorry for them, fed them, even helped them with money. Could one of them repay him with evil for good? Andrey Panin was actually mutilated, but knowing an artist who was seriously fond of boxing and was able to stand up for himself, it is surprising that he allowed this to be done to himself. The conclusion suggests itself – it means that at first they were turned off, perhaps they got drunk, and only then they killed ... However, none of these guests were among the defendants in the criminal case.
Business and bandit partners? Few people knew that Panin had his own film distribution business. A sphere that has been strongly associated with crime since the dashing 90s. And then there is Panin himself - a sharp, explosive person. If anything, he didn’t go into his pocket for a word. Could obscene, could send. Perhaps he sent “the wrong one” or crossed the road in business to the guys who decide “business issues” by no means at the negotiating table?

Three versions of the same tragedy

The third version is criminal. The actor was simply beaten to death. And experts at the beginning of the investigation spoke confidently about this, referring to the nature of Panin's injuries. But in the end, no one was to blame.

Supporters of the version of violent death suggest that a fight broke out in the apartment, and Panin died as a result of bodily injuries inflicted on him. Many are convinced that the actor could not have received such injuries as a result of a fall. The abrasions found on his knuckles and bruises on his knees also testify in favor of the version of the fight. But no signs of a fight were found, no one heard the noise. Also, the door was locked. The version that the actor was killed in another place, and then brought to the apartment, also did not find confirmation - there were no traces of blood in the elevator and the entrance, and they were everywhere in the apartment. And in this case, there would certainly have been witnesses who saw or heard how the body was brought into the entrance. There is also a possibility that Panin was beaten, after which he came home on his own, opened and closed the door with his key, and then lost consciousness and died from blood loss and injuries. But how could he go home in such a state?
Panin's wife, actress Natalya Rogozhkina, believes that the cause of his death was the same addiction that destroyed their marriage - addiction to alcohol. The operatives are sure that the actor drank heavily the last few days before his death, which is also confirmed by the neighbors. In his bachelor's apartment, Panin appeared periodically when he wanted to be alone.
